Many local chefs are going back to their roots and celebrating Southern cuisine with long forgotten ingredients and menu items. These chefs are also evolving the culinary history of the South by drawing on newer immigrant cultures. It’s this mixing of the Old South with the new that makes a weekend in Charlotte a must. read more

My Tips For Visiting New York City

My Tips For Visiting New York City

New York City is a city that you will never have enough time to explore, so you absolutely need to make the most of your time whilst you are there. In order to save time and get the most out of your experience I decided to write this short article about my tips for visiting New York City. Read on to find out more.

Getting there quickly

Getting from the airport to New York city should be as quick and painless as possible and the best way that I have found to do this is by taking a private car service. For example, a New York chaffeur service is absolutely perfect when you don’t want to take a taxi or a bus to get to the city. You don’t have to fight other people to get a taxi and you don’t have to dread the long and bumpy bus ride into Manhattan. A private car offers a comfortable ride and you don’t need to worry about your things being taken. In fact you can even sleep without the fear of missing your stop! read more

Pucllana Temple (Huaca Pucllana)

You really don’t need to go into the jungle or mountains to see historical Peruvian ruins,  you can easily do this in Lima. Most of these ruins  not able to be accessed by the Pucllana Temple  is one of the places that you are actually able to visit. The temple is located in the Miraflores district and it is believed that it was built around 500 AD. There are constant discoveries of artifacts and ancient mummies and this makes it even more interesting, and the site is still being uncovered today. This is a great place at night too, as the temple is lit up at night and gives it an almost surreal look. read more

Dalmatia’s Historical Attractions

Dalmatia, a historic region of Croatia, is today peopled by three distinct groups.
