Travel Tips For Peace of Mind

Travel Tips For Peace of Mind

Traveling should be about being carefree and having all the right things in place so that the trip runs as smoothly as possible. There are many things you can do before and after you travel to make things easier, and I wanted to make that the focus of today’s blog. Here are some of my best tips for keeping your peace of mind while travelling.

Carrying Less

It may sound counterintuitive, but carrying less is one of the best ways to make travel easier and better while keeping your sanity. The less you carry, the less you have to worry about — and the easier it is to carry around with you. Trust me when I say that lugging a huge bag full of stuff isn’t a fun experience, especially on a long trip! It’s also always a great idea to clean out your wallet before you go, so you only take the essentials with you, like cards and cash. Some things are better left at home because you’ll just worry about them otherwise. It’s an amazing feeling going to an airport with only a few cards and some cash. It even makes your travel experience nicer. read more

Sell Your Car Online

Selling your car online is a great way to increase exposure to potential buyers well beyond your neighborhood or zipcode. Gone are the days of putting an ad in the newspaper or sticking a for sale sign on your car in hopes of landing a private sale based on passersby. There are so many buyers out there and geography or proximity are no longer limitations in finding them.

To get started, head over to Cars.com and begin creating a listing. If this is your first car listing on the site, you’ll need to start by creating an account. Once your account is created, click on the build new ad link. The basic package for selling your car on the site is free. This package includes up to five photos of the car, an active ad for one month with renewals for free and reports available to gauge how potential buyers are interacting with your ad. There is also a plus package on the site for $20 which includes 10 photos and a two month run,  and premium package which runs for 150 days and includes 15 photos and a free CarFax report. read more

If you are heading to Lima for a South America Tour, you are in for a treat, because Lima will most likely become your favourite holiday destination after you visit. It is full of culture and history, that probably cannot be matched by any other South American country. Here are some great things to do in Lima.

Pucllana Temple (Huaca Pucllana)

You really don’t need to go into the jungle or mountains to see historical Peruvian ruins,  you can easily do this in Lima. Most of these ruins  not able to be accessed by the Pucllana Temple  is one of the places that you are actually able to visit. The temple is located in the Miraflores district and it is believed that it was built around 500 AD. There are constant discoveries of artifacts and ancient mummies and this makes it even more interesting, and the site is still being uncovered today. This is a great place at night too, as the temple is lit up at night and gives it an almost surreal look. read more

Use an area rug

Even if you have all-over carpeting in your living room, an area rug adds a punch of style and color as well as cozy comfort to the space. Dalmatia’s Historical Attractions

Dalmatia’s Historical Attractions

Dalmatia, a historic region of Croatia, is today peopled by three distinct groups. The ‘Fetivi’ occupy the urban coastal cities, the old towns and historic attractions clear descendants of a heavy Italian and classical Roman heritage, while the further inland you venture the more you encounter the influence of the Turkish Ottoman Empire and its descendants, the Vlaji. The largest city in Dalmatia, the city of Split, stands testament to the influence of the Roman empire, built as it was around the Palace of the Emperor Diocletian, and historical hubs such as the city of Dubrovnic offer a wealth of cultural intrigue.  read more
